Field Network Engineer

Cloud Matrix Technologies is a fast-growing IT service provider specializing in network deployment, installation, and maintenance. We connect skilled professionals with businesses in need of top-tier IT support.

We are seeking Field Network Engineers to provide on-site support for our clients. Engineers will be randomly assigned to work orders based on client requests across various locations within Boston and nearby areas.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy, install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.

Conduct network troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve connectivity issues.

Perform cabling, racking, and patching as required.

Collaborate with remote teams for seamless integration and troubleshooting.

Provide on-site technical support and follow client-specific work instructions.

Document installation procedures and submit job completion reports.

Skills/Experience

Experience in network installation and maintenance (switches, routers, firewalls, and access points).

Familiarity with brands like Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti, HP, and Fortinet.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and travel to various client locations.

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+, or equivalent) are a plus.
